“West HS is a great school! There are a variety of activity and athletic programs for every student! The administration and staff provide outstanding support and encouragement. They provide an optimal learning environment as you transition to each academic department within the building. The test scores aren't always the best picture of a school. They are slightly skewed and unfortunately in the wrong direction of West High. We have high expectations of these students, in which they have surpassed in the past year. Looking at what they have done to accomplish the change of morale and physical appearance throughout the building, you can only see the potential they hold in their future.”

“West High is a great school. Our children have found a caring, yet challenging environment. They have been involved with both vocal and instrumental music, including madrigal, musicals and state contests. They have been on the school bowling teams. The one who has already graduated did so with honors, taking physics 'just for the fun of it'. I suppose in our school, as in others, you have those parents who choose to be involved and those who don't. Those I have been in parent groups with have been hard workers and really interested in the best educational experience for the children, as are the teachers for their students.”
